Terms of service
RIDEN — Terms of Service Effective date: June 2026
These Terms govern your use of getriden.com and any purchase you make. The store is operated by O'Brien John ("RIDEN", "we", "us"), 23 Marshes Upper, Dundalk, LH A91 XN72, Ireland. Contact: contact@getriden.com.
1. Acceptance. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Products. RIDEN sells electric bikes, electric scooters, mobility scooters and related accessories. We describe products as accurately as possible, including key specifications such as motor power, top speed and range. Colours and images are for illustration and may vary slightly. We may update or discontinue products at any time.
3. Pricing & payment. Prices are shown at checkout and include applicable taxes unless stated. Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment providers. We reserve the right to cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing or stock error, with a full refund.
4. Orders. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract forms when we confirm dispatch. We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including stock availability, suspected fraud, or delivery restrictions, and will refund any payment taken.
5. Product use & legal compliance. Some products (for example, higher-powered electric bikes and private electric scooters) may be restricted to private land or off-road use, or subject to local road, licensing and safety laws. Each product page states relevant specifications. It is your responsibility to check and comply with the laws that apply where you ride before use. Always wear appropriate protective equipment.
6. Warranty & returns. Our warranty and your return rights are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property. All content on getriden.com (text, images, logos, the RIDEN brand) is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
8. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
10. Changes. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated version.
